If you do not have a great deal of information about email marketing and do not fully understand the principles involved one of the best ways to orchestrate a truly effective email marketing campaign is to hire a consulting firm with a proven track record in promoting business through email marketing to assist you in your endeavor. Similarly to traditional marketing such as radio, television and print media, the popular strategies governing email marketing are changing constantly. As a business owner you likely already have enough to deal with trying to stay up to date on business practices that you do not have the time, energy or finances to also stay up to date on the latest changes in email marketing.
For this reason it is certainly worthwhile to hire a professional in the email marketing industry who can devote himself full time to keeping up to date with the most effective email marketing strategies and designing an email marketing campaign for our business to help you achieve your business related goals. However, selecting a consultant from the many options available can be downright overwhelming. In general you should look for a consultant who has a great deal of experience, a proven track record, listens to your questions carefully, explains concepts simply and makes your project a priority.
Another popular strategy for email marketing is to offer an email correspondence course on a subject closely related to your website or the products or services you offer. These correspondence courses should include a number of short segments, provide useful information, be of interest to your intended audience and should also help to promote your business in some way. The simplest way to promote your business without having your correspondence course deemed to be spam is to use a soft sell approach to subtly urge readers to make a purchase or visit your website for more information. The fact of the matter is most people don’t buy on the first visit, and chances are they probably won’t come back. Avoid Spam Filters:
Most Internet service providers have started using rigorous Spam protection mechanisms for trapping unsolicited junk mail, before it reaches the receiver’s in-box. The Spam filters rank each e-mail according to different criteria and if the email is rated above a particular number of points, it is marked as spam and deleted. Avoid the usage of words such as, ‘FREE’,'SAVE’,'DISCOUNT’, etc in the content or subject as it might be considered as spam. To make the process simpler, you can make use of Spam filters.
Maximize Click Through Rates:
Avoid the usage of too much un-required text and graphics while marketing your product, as it might makes it tough for the subscriber to search a particular task, like clicking a link, and reading some important and useful information. According to research made, customers respond well to bold and underlined text, which in return allows more customers to click on it, thus, increasing your sales and purchases.
One Click Unsubscription
The process of unsubscription should be easy and fast. In fact, in some countries, it is mandatory for all emails to contain an unsubscription link. This link should divert the user to the page where he can complete the procedure of unsubscription on the page itself, without navigating through other irrelevant pages.
SignUp Confirmation
The confirmation process should be secure, where the users need to initially enter their e-mail address, in order to subscribe after which, you are supposed to send them a confirmation e-mail on their email account. The email which you have sent back in return should contain a special link, which will divert the user back to the e-mail marketing program which can be used for the purpose of verification. This will also help in avoiding any kind of email scam.

How do you build guaranteed content for these emails? You could simply write about the product, or some other factual topic of interest. This type of content can be important when developing a relationship with your readers, but unfortunately they don’t make any money.
If you want to succeed, you need to be able to write hypnotic messages that that will generate the sales. This is easy to say but really difficult to do well. You could, of course, outsource this task. Alternatively, you could save the money that the outsourcing costs and spend it on something else instead! Good sales copy is very expensive!
So how do you go about writing killer emails for your auto-responder, yourself?
Well there is a well proven three email approach that works in almost every case. The approach is simple and the skill lies in getting the content right. It is important to understand the overall approach that the auto-responder emails must conform to.
Email 1. This first email is all about building a relationship . This is a first contact email, one which states very clearly what the product features and benefits are. It will set the foundation and describes the product in some detail and tells why the reader will find the product invaluable.
Email 2. The second email is the most important of the three. There is an assumption that the reader already knows what the product is all about, having previously received the first email so this email is about removing all possible buying objections. The simplest way to achieve this is by creating a set of questions and answers. You ask the question on behalf of the reader and then provide an answer that creates a positive state of mind.
