Video Marketing VS Search Engine Optimization

Online video has now become the fastest way to generate traffic, leads, and sales. A home made video posted on video sharing sites (like YouTube and Google) can pop up in the first page of search engines within days or even minutes.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is still very important, but it takes a lot of time and can get very technical. A video made by someone who doesn’t know internet marketing can quickly show up on the first page of Google and rank higher than a traditional webpage that tooks weeks or months to rank using SEO. So why are most people still not using videos to market their home businesses?

Despite knowing the power of video marketing, many home business owners are still scared or put off by the idea. Some think that it’s complicated, while others just don’t want to put their faces on camera. Other’s use the famous “I have a face for radio” excuse.

Well, making a video is not complicated and your looks don’t matter either. What matters is the message in your videos. In fact, there are several people out there who are far from attractive but are still generating tons of traffic, leads, and sales by using video.

The biggest tip I can give you if you haven’t made a video yet is to JUST DO IT! I can’t say it simpler than that. Everyone gets scared and nervous before shooting their first video. You have to get over it and go for it. It’s not as hard as you think. In fact, you will find it quite interesting and enjoyable.

Once you make a few videos, you will begin to get a hang of it and enjoy the whole process (especially when the traffic, leads and sales start rolling in).

Nobody can make your videos like you, because there is only one you in this world. This is a very important concept in video marketing. You have to stand out and be unique, and the best way to do this is by being yourself.
